Douglas Keister's FIFTH cemetery book, Stories in Stone New York comes out Fall 2011.
Doug obtained unprecedented access to photograph interiors of private mausoleums in New York City's most fabulous cemeteries.
The book also contains chapters on cemetery architecture and symbolism.
The cemeteries most prominently profiled are Green-Wood in Brooklyn, Woodlawn in the Bronx, Kensico in Valhalla, Sleepy Hollow in Westchester County and Hartsdale Pet Cemetery in Hartsdale.
